Staying at Ft. Wilderness Lodge for the 1st time at the end of Apr. How long is the boat ride to MK and how often do they depart? What time is the Chip & Dale Campfire Sing-a-long? Thanks!

Hi Danielle!  Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and Wilderness Lodge are two separate Disney resorts located within a mile of each other.  Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has wonderful cabins and RV/Camper hook-ups if you are looking for a more rustic experience.  Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort, with a 7 story lobby full of gorgeous pine decor and Native American touches.  The boat launch to Magic Kingdom from WL or FW takes about 20 minutes and runs continuously throughout the day until about 1 hour after MK closes.  Chip and Dale's Campfire sing-a-long plays out daily at Fort Wilderness Campground at around 7 pm.  There is a walkway/path connecting the two resorts that is approximately 1 mile long.  Hope this helps you plan your magical Disney vacation! -Malanie
