We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and have reservations at BBB at 8am. The park opens at 9am that day. We do not have a car available. Will there be buses available? If not, are there taxi options with car seats or boosters? Thanks!

Hi, Laura! Becoming a royal princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is the perfect way to begin an enchanting day at Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to stop in front of Cinderella Castle that morning after the royal transformation so Disney's PhotoPass photographers can take a picture of your regal family. We try to plan on arriving at the park around 7:30 a.m. when we have early reservations, such as yours. You have a few transportation choices at your Resort, the boat launches and Disney bus system.

I just looked over the transportation hours for Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. There are two separate boat launches at your Resort hotel, the blue flag boat and the red flag boat. When headed to Magic Kingdom, be sure to hop on the red flag boat, which is usually on the left side of the dock. This boat shows current operational hours as a half hour before park opening to an hour and a half after the park closes. This is not going to work for you, so you will need to hop on the Magic Kingdom bus from the Resort. No need to look for a cab, as they will only be able to transport you to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you will have to transfer to monorail or ferry boat to reach Magic Kingdom. The bus definitely should be your royal carriage choice that morning.

The regular bus transportation hours are listed as beginning operation one hour before the park opens. However, Disney does realize that Guests require transportation to royal engagements scheduled before the parks open. In my experience, we have hopped on the buses as early as 6:45 a.m. numerous times. The bus from your Resort will also make a stop at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground before heading to Magic Kingdom, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to your appointment.

I hope this helps you plan your day a little easier. Please stop by again if you think of any other questions as you continue to plan. Have a wonderful vacation!
