We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in 5/08. I need info. on the transportation. Do they share w/other resorts? How long are the commute times, etc. etc.

The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful hotel. There are two main ways to get to the parks from the Wilderness Lodge: bus and boat. From the WL docks, you can grab a shuttle boat to Fort Wilderness, the Contemporary Resort, and the Magic Kingdom. The bus stop just to the right of the main entrance (as you face the hotel) is the place to go for transportation to Epcot, the Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney, and the water parks. Generally speaking, I have found that you can get from the Lodge to the Magic Kingdom in 15 minutes or so. Getting to Epcot from the Lodge takes much longer: half an hour on a good day and on the worst days almost double that.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (available on Amazon or most bookstores) includes a great chart that lists estimated travel times from each WDW resort hotel to all of the theme parks. I would recommend the Unofficial Guide as required reading for anyone visiting WDW.
