Staying at the Wilderness Lodge, is it a hassle to take a stroller on and off the boat to MK? The bus to other parks? If we rent a stroller in one park is it good for all day even if we visit a different park or do we have to pay at each park? How much?

    Robert,

I am actually writing this from my own room in the Villas at Wilderness Lodge!  We're in Disney right now, bracing for tropical storm Fay to hit.  Yuck!

I won 't lie to you.  Yes, the strollers can be a hassle on transportation.  On the monorails and the larger boats they can be wheeled straight on, but for smaller boats and all buses they must be folded.  That's not fun.  But neither is the price of renting a stroller, which is currently $15/day for a single or $31/day for a double.  There is a nominal discount available for length-of-stay rentals, but it's still a pricey undertaking.  ($13/day single or $27/day double)

Because of the price, and because we'd need one double and one single, we always bring our own.  However, strollers from home are also much more comfortable.  The seats are padded, they recline, and there is a storage basket and cupholders.  Disney strollers are hard plastic and offer none of these features.

If you decide to rent, the fee is per day and good at any park you hop to as well.
