    We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge the end of May. This resort came highly recommended for many reasons. But their pools don't look as nice as some of the other resorts' pools and they don't seem to have as many? Is that true? You are fabulous!!

    I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge several times. It has my favorite themeing of any WDW hotel and two of my favorite restaurants on property: the Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point. I'm a big fan!

    As far as the pool goes ... is it the best pool at WDW? I'd have to say no, the Yacht & Beach Club pool is better. Is the pool at the Wilderness Lodge still great? Yes, of course. There is a terrific water slide and some fun waterfalls in the main pool. And there are additional "quiet" pools in both the main hotel and villa areas. There is also a kiddie pool, two whirlpools, and a decorative geyser. The pool to guest ratio is just right for the size of the hotel.
