We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge, bunk bed room, woods view, end of April. I would like to request a room away from lobby noise, elevators, ice machines, etc., we have very light sleepers. Any suggestions on a room.

    Hi Donna!

You are going to LOVE the Wilderness Lodge! It is my favorite resort, and my kids often refuse to stay anywhere else!

We usually request a room on the North side, facing Magic Kingdom, on an upper floor. We've never experienced any problems with noise in this area. Directly below these rooms is a pond, smokehouse and a small service area. We did not hear any noise from the service area and it did not bother us at all.

Some of these rooms actually have a view of Cinderella's Castle, Wishes, and the Contemporary through the trees. While its not a perfect view of the castle, due to the trees and the woods, I think its one of the best!

Even though room requests are not guarantees, we've always had good luck. Don't hesitate to ask about your requests during check-in as well, just as a gentle reminder.

I hope you enjoy your stay at this wonderful resort!
