Hello, we will be staying for a week in mid-November and attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and wanted to know what special characters/meet and greets we might encounter at this special event that are not normally available from day to day.

Hey Sean! Thank you so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
is my favorite special event in all of Walt Disney World. Between the free hot chocolate and cookies and the snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A., it really puts me in the holiday spirit!

While the special character appearances change from year-to-year I can tell you the special meet ~n~ greets I have experienced in the last couple of year.

    • Santa Claus near the Fire Station in Town Square
    • Captain Hook & Smee outside of Pirates of the Caribbean
    • Snow White & Sleeping Beauty at the entrance to Fantasyland
    • Santa Goofy
    • All Seven Dwarfs near the entrance of Fantasyland
    • Jack Skellington in his "Sandy Claws" outfit in Storybook Circus

I can tell you that some of these experiences such as Santa Claus, the Seven Dwarfs and those meet ~n~ greets taking place in Storybook Circus can get very busy. If there are any characters you just have to meet I suggest lining up prior to the party starting at 7:00 p.m. possibly even 6:15 p.m. at the latest.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
