Hello I will be staying in WDW starting next week and linked up my Debt Card to my room. Do you know if I charge to my room will it deduct from debt card right away or will it wait until I check out and make all the charges at once. At most hotels I charg

    Nathan,

As I understand it, what they do is bill your card, credit or debit, when a debt of a certain amount is amassed. You can get that exact figure from the front desk when you check in.

While I don't know what that exact value is (which might even change by resort), what they do is wait until you owe them a certain amount, say $500, then bill your card. As long as you know what that number is, keep track of what you are spending, and monitor it daily, you should have a good take on what the billing will be.

An example for me on a recent trip was that my card was billed three times. The first bill was 2 days in, based on hotel room charges and a few meals. Then we had a second billing around the second to last day of our week long vacation. Then on the check-out day they billed the remaining outstanding debt. The cast members at the resort were great to work with on giving me clear information on what dollar limit I had to hit before they billed my card, as well as letting me know when I checked at the front desk throughout the trip on what my bill was at that time.

I hope that this helps? Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
