We will be staying at WDW from September 19- 26. We want to book our dining reservations 180 in advance but are anticipating Disney to offer free dining during our stay. Can we re-book at a later time to take advantage, and keep all of our reservations?

    Hi James!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Booking Advanced Dining Reservations for Walt Disney World vacations is one of my favorite parts of planning.  I always try to pick at least one restaurant my family has not experienced, but always include our must-dos such as Tusker House, and 'Ohana.

You certainly can book Advanced Dining Reservations without having a Disney hotel room reserved. You can book dining online or by calling (407) 939-1947 up to 180 days before your visit. Please note that you will be charged a fee if you do not show up to your reservation, or do not cancel it within the stated time period given when you reserve.   If you have already booked a package and Disney releases a Free Dining promotion you will be welcome to contact whomever booked your package and see if they can adjust your reservation to include any promotions that may apply to your stay.  Even if you change your hotel reservation it will not impact your Advanced Dining Reservations so have no fears.

I'd love to continue helping you plan your magical getaway, please let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip.

    Have a Tiggerific Day,

    ~Jen
