Staying in WDW before sailing from Fort Lauderdale and having a rental car, is there any possibility to drop off family and baggage at Port Everglades before returning rental car at airport and reach family at the port with an Uber?

Hello there Daniele, I'd like to welcome you aboard planDisney!

It looks like you've got a fantastic family vacation planned at Walt Disney World Resort before making the trip down the Floridian coast to set sail on a 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Fort Lauderdale! Through my years living and working at sea, I spent several months sailing out of Fort Lauderdale myself and enjoyed the how close the Port Everglades Terminal is to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

I confirmed with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who let me know that your family will be welcome to wait for you within the newly-opened Disney Cruise Line Terminal while you return your rental car; they also let me know that certain rental companies in the area may also provide you with a shuttle back to the port itself so that may be something you'll want to inquire about if it is available! (I recommend making sure that each member of the family keeps their own identification with them, just to avoid any mishaps where they're either not able to enter if you keep them with you or if you're not able to join them right away because they kept all of your documents.) Having more than one copy of your Port Arrival Form after you complete the Online Check-In Process handy as well could help you out just in case you are separated and cannot reach either other, but the new terminal should be equipped with wireless internet that you can connect to in order to communicate upon your return.

Be sure to check out the planDisney Beginners Guide to the Disney Dream before you go, and I also recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on Disney Destinations before you come for your visit!

Wishing you and your family all the best on your next Disney adventure together!
