If staying at a WDW resort and leaving for a WDW cruise, does Disney take you to the ships port for your sailing? And if so will they go to either Port Caniveral or Miami? Thank you foryour help.

Hello Roxanne, welcome aboard! Staying at a Walt Disney World resort and enjoying the parks before setting off on Disney Cruise Line is a great way to begin your vacation. I love to enjoy the parks before, as opposed to after, a cruise, as the parks can be so fun they wear you out. Then you have a nice relaxing cruise to look forward to. But, if you haven't had enough activity at the parks, you're sure to find quite a few things to keep you busy during the cruise as well.

Disney offers ground transportation from all of the Walt Disney World Resorts, except for Ft. Wilderness Campground, to Port Canaveral. There is an additional cost to booking this transportation, but I highly suggest it, as Disney will take care of all the details, and you will be sure that you will arrive on time and very relaxed to your ship. In addition, your luggage will be picked up at your resort and meet you in your stateroom onboard the ship. Simply call Disney Cruise Line to arrange the ground transportation.

Currently Disney Cruise Line does not offer ground transportation from the Walt Disney World Resorts to the Port of Miami, only to and from Port Canaveral. If you fly into Miami, however, you can book Disney transportation between the Miami airport and the Port of Miami.

Have fun planning your land and sea vacation with Disney, Roxanne! Let me know if I can help out with any other questions!
