I am staying at WDW Good Neighbor Resort, will the Minnie Van Service travel to those hotels as well? We need to get to a Hoop Dee Doo dining reservation.

Hi Katee and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to know that your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few weeks away! Are you counting down the days? I know I do!

Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels can offer some great value to guests during their visit to the most magical place on earth. My family and I have stayed at many different hotels both on and off-property over the years.

The Minnie Van Service is a super convenient way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort, but it does not offer service to guests staying off-property. Katee, you can absolutely use the service to get to a theme park after your rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue! You will want to make room for dessert, they make a mean strawberry shortcake!

I suggest a ride sharing app like Uber or Lyft to get you to your reservation. Your hotel may also help you with taxi service or shuttle service to any of the theme parks. If shuttle service is available to the Magic Kingdom Park, you can always take the water taxi from the entrance of the theme park to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It will take you right where you need to be. Just give yourself about an hour to an hour and a half for commuting time.

Katee, I hope I’ve given you a few options for transportation. Please feel free to drop by again to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
