    Hi, we are staying at  WDW end of Aug, would I be able to buy a helium balloon at the gift shop at the resort?

    There are beautiful mylar balloons for sale in the Magic Kingdom, but I have never seen any sort of helium balloons for sale in the resorts at WDW.

    Don't give up hope though, there are simple balloons and helium tanks at the front desks of almost all the hotels. They are sometimes used as welcome gifts for children, but most often one or two is sent up to a guest room if the guest is celebrating a birthday. If you just wanted a few balloons, you could probably persuade the front desk to give you a couple for free.
