Staying at WDW BC in June with the $750 gift card offer upon check in. Can we use our Key To The World Card during the trip to charge to the room and then apply the charges to the gift card at the end of the trip upon check out? Thanks for your help!

Hi, Valerie!  You can do this, but let me share with you a little tip I learned on my vacation in December.

I had a gift card that I wanted to use to pay off the balance of my account at the end of my stay, and I advised them upon check in that I wanted to do that, but I put a credit card on the account.  I did not go to the front desk until the morning I checked out, and by that time, they had already charged my credit card.

If you want to use your gift card, head down the night before to the front desk, and have them apply your gift card to the charges at that time, instead of waiting until the last minute.  Since many of the accounts are actually settled the evening before, so you can express check out, it will just help the process run more smoothly if you make sure the night before that your gift card is properly charged.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
