Hi, will be staying at WDW in April at the Polynesian. Can we request a room with two queen beds and a day bed sleeper? Is it true that the rooms are slightly larger? Thanks so much!

Hi Jennifer! You're going to love the enchanting tropical theme at the Polynesian Resort. The first time I stayed at the Polynesian I was shocked to see how large the room was compared to many other Disney resorts. (A typical room averages 415 square feet, which is more than thirty to fifty square feet larger than most other Disney deluxe resorts.) Many rooms at the Polynesian have two queen beds and a daybed, and you're welcome to note on your reservation that you prefer this bedding arrangement. While room requests aren't guaranteed, I've found that Disney usually tries to accommodate them if possible.

You can view photos of the Polynesian rooms on the Disney website.
