We are staying in a 1 BR Villa at Bay Lake Village in April. I am wondering if the coffee maker is a standard drip (and I should bring filers a ground coffee) or if it is a Kuerig type coffee maker and I should bring standard coffee pods.

    Welcome Home, Nancy!

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to love your stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! Our home Resorts are Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. But! We spend so much time at Disney’s Contemporary Resort that the last time we were there (last Monday!), that my husband looked at me and said, “We should buy a contract here.” Music to my EARs! We love everything about Bay Lake Tower, but especially the proximity to Magic Kingdom Park. I think it’s the most “convenient” of all of the Resorts!

You will have a full kitchen in your 1-Bedroom Villa. The kitchen is completely stocked - from dishes to pans to a full refrigerator. You will also have a standard drip-style coffee pot (the better to make a big brew), so plan on bringing coffee grounds. There is a full coffee service, including filters and a bag of Joffrey's coffee, which Mousekeeping is happy to replenish, but feel free to bring along anything that makes your brew special!

If you don’t want to pack your groceries, you have several options for grocery delivery to your Resort. These options range from Disney Vacation Club to Amazon Prime Now, Walmart, and Instacart. Bell Services will happily hold your packages (be prepared for a small fee) until you are ready to pick them up. No worries about refrigerated items, they will keep your groceries cold!

Nancy, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. ChEARs to a caffeinated vacay!
