Disneyland Hotel. These beautifully designed accommodations bring a fresh layer of comfort and convenience to a Disneyland Resort vacation, and having had the chance to tour one of the room options myself, I can confidently say you’re in for a fantastic stay from check-in to checkout.
When it comes to pool availability during your visit, there’s good news overall. At this time, the only pools undergoing refurbishment are located at the
Pixar Place Hotel. While the pools themselves are currently unavailable, the Pool Deck area remains open. That means Guests can still enjoy spaces like
Pixar Shorts Court, where you’ll find fun games such as shuffleboard and other casual activities that make for a relaxing break between park days. On evenings when fireworks are scheduled at
Disneyland Park, the Pool Deck can also be a lovely spot to catch those nighttime sparkles lighting up the sky.
The great news for your stay is that the
pools at the Disneyland Hotel are fully available for Guests of The Villas. This gives you access to one of the most expansive and entertaining pool areas at the Disneyland Resort. You’ll find three distinct pools to enjoy, including the iconic Monorail waterslides that glide right through colorful replicas of Disneyland’s classic transportation system. These slides are a nostalgic favorite and bring smiles to Guests of all ages.
For families traveling with younger swimmers, the Steamboat Willie splash pad offers a playful space to cool off, while adults may appreciate the relaxing whirlpool spas scattered throughout the pool area. There’s also the brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness center nearby if you’re looking to balance pool time with a workout. Back at your Villa, the spacious, home-like layout makes it easy to recharge after a full day of attractions, dining, and nighttime entertainment.
One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Hotel pool area is how it transforms in the evening. The lighting adds a cozy, magical glow that’s perfect for a nighttime swim or a few memorable photos. Just steps away,
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar invites you to extend the evening with immersive theming, tropical beverages, and plenty of surprises.
