If staying at a value resort can I upgrade and pay the difference for a table service dining plan from the counter service one for the One Delicious Dining special offer?

Hi, Amanda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing us another great question! Walt Disney World Resort offers many great Special Offers each year, but if there is one that is the most eagerly anticipated, it has to be the Free Disney Dining promotion! This Special Offer not only provides you with a Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, but also meals for each night of your stay. That is incredible! I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plans for the convenience they provided my family. Whenever we are hungry, we just head to our favorite Quick Service dining locations and place our order. Will it be turkey legs for dinner? Or maybe we should just have a Dole Whip Float dinner? I vote both!

You are welcome to personalize your Magic Your Way Vacation Package by upgrading the included meal plan. The Free Delicious Dining offer this year provides a complimentary Quick Service Dining Plan to guests staying at Disney Value and Moderate Resorts. If you do want to include Table Service dining locations in your plans, you will need to make the Disney Dining Plan your choice when booking your vacation package. The total cost for your vacation package will increase to cover the difference in cost between the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan. At this time, the difference in cost would be $22.99 per adult and $4.01 per child, per night of your stay. If you do upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan, please plan ahead for your Table Service meals by making Advance Dining Reservations for your favorite dining locations.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
