Hello! We'll be staying at a Value resort during a week in a couple of months. We'll be driving from Miami and we would like to know if we have to pay to park at the hotel when we get there? The rooms have microwave and fridge?

    Hi Myriam!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! I often drive when I visit the most magical place on earth because I love the adventure of a road trip! My last several visits have also been at the value resorts, including Art of Animation, All Star Movies, and Pop Century, so I can definitely help answer all of your questions!

You will need to pay for overnight self-parking at all of the Walt Disney World Resorts. The cost to park varies by value, moderate, and deluxe resorts.

The value resorts, including all of the All Star Resorts, Pop Century, and Art of Animation, all have a mini fridge in the room. The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation and All Star Music Resorts have microwaves in the room as well. While the standard and preferred rooms at the value resorts do not come equipped with a microwave, you can find microwaves for Guest use in the food court.

I absolutely love staying in the family suites because they have a microwave, mini fridge, sink, coffee maker, and a small kitchenette area for food prep. I like to stock up on drinks, microwave popcorn, and hot cocoa to have late night snacks after spending the day in the park. You can find a lot of these items in the gift shop located in the lobby of the resort, such as Donald's Double Feature at Disney's All Star Movies Resort.

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
    Magically,
    Stacy
