Jambo, Susan!
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for visiting us with your question about your upcoming trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth. I love getting to help fellow Guests plan the perfect holiday to Disney Destinations, it's extra special when I get to chat with a fellow Brit!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, wow, you are in for a WILD stay. My family loved staying at this resort, there really is nothing like waking up each day and being greeted by the wildlife on the Savannah. We loved spending time outside in the viewing areas by the lobby, speaking with Cast Members about the animals, they were so knowledgeable, and we learned so much!
Now, let's talk about the most important meal of the day, breakfast. Whilst I love a buffet breakfast, I too, cannot do that every day for 14 days. the great news is that at Walt Disney World there is a range of different styles of restaurants to choose from. One of my favourite non-buffet options at Animal Kingdom Lodge is
Sanaa, which offers quick service style breakfast that does not require reservations, this can be found in the Kidani Village section of the resort. I cannot mention Sanaa without suggesting the bread service available at lunch and dinner - I would fly over to Florida for that alone, it is perfect! Now, back to breakfast! At Jambo House, you will find
The Mara, which offers a quick service style breakfast, too, which has classic breakfast options for the whole family.
I personally love all of the breakfast options at the other Deluxe Resorts, too. You do not need to be staying there to enjoy the restaurants. If you fancy a trip over to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom, you will find Roaring Fork, which is one of my favourite quick service options across all of Walt Disney World!
I hope this answers your question, Susan. If I can be anymore help, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help you as you embark on planning your holiday!
Have a magical day,
Matt
