Randall from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are staying at two different properties starting on 1/15 (15-17 Saratoga Springs 17-24 Animal Kingdom). We were only able to book dining reservations for two days of our trip (15-17). We were under the impression we could book for the entire trip!?!?

    Hello Randall!

Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you with answers to their Disney vacation questions. How exciting for you to be within your dining reservation booking window! Making dining reservations in the incredible Walt Disney World restaurants is one of my favorite parts of planning my vacation. My family usually likes to keep a few family favorites in the rotation and throw in some new places to try. If you are looking to try something new, I have heard great things about Steakhouse 71 in Disney’s Contemporary Resort and am looking forward to trying it myself during my next Walt Disney World vacation.

I recently enjoyed a split-stay like you have planned for January, spending a few nights in one Disney Vacation Club Resort before moving to another. When booking my dining reservations, I discovered that split stay reservations are two separate reservations since they are booked separately. You will be able to book your second set of advance dining reservations for the second half of your stay once the window for your Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge stay opens. Once your second advance dining reservation window opens, you should be able to book the rest of your advance dining reservations for the length of your stay (up to 10 days).

I hope this information helps you prepare for your next advance dining reservation window to open and that you score some incredible dining reservations in the fabulous Walt Disney World restaurants! Please stop back by planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
