We will be staying at the treehouses and don't have a car. I was wondering if there is easy access to taxi cabs? Also, how difficult will it be to get to downtown disney we have some evening dinner reservations there?

    Hi Jodi,

How exciting to be staying in the newly redesigned Treehouses. I was able to take a peek at them and can't wait to stay there myself.

The Treehouses are part of the Saratoga Springs Resort and are located across the river from Downtown Disney. There are internal buses that run from the Treehouse main entrance to the Springs bus stop at Saratoga Springs. Once at the Springs stop, you will be able to transfer to a Disney bus to any of the Disney theme parks, water parks, or Downtown Disney. If you are up for some exercise, there is a pedestrian path that runs from the Treehouses to the Saratoga Springs and eventually all the way around to the Marketplace entrance at Downtown Disney. The third option would be to take the boat from the Treehouse dock, making a stop at the Carriage House at Saratoga Springs, and then on to the West Side Downtown Disney boat dock. If you are still interested in skipping these choices and grabbing a cab, the valet can call one for you at any of the resorts and there are always a number of cabs available at Downtown Disney.

Hope you have an amazing stay and love the "new" Treehouses.
