We are staying at a timeshare this time but don't want to rely on it all the time. Want to stay on property but not be miles away. Affordability is must but will spend little extra to be closer to everything. Besides Allstar which would you recommend?

    David,

First of all, definitely keep the Value resorts (like the All Stars) in mind when planning a vacation. I think they are a great deal, and while they may not have white glove concierge service, I think they are great resorts, and a wonderful way to get into the Disney experience!

If it were me, however, I would stay at the "other" value, Pop Century. That, and the soon to be completed Art of Animation resort (which will be adjacent to Pop Century) are both more centrally located in all of the Walt Disney World area, but also I think a bit nicer. Better crowd levels, better transportation, better facilities (though not really much different!).

Now you could spend more for a moderate, but they will not get you any 'closer', so if resort-located amenities are not as important to you, then stick to these values and you should be fine!

    Have a magical vacation!
