Hey there, James! Welcome to planDisney!
The Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel are a few of my favorite places to stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort! I actually stayed at the Swan during my very first Disney vacation way back in 1989 when I was just 3 years old! While we do stay at many other Disney Resorts Collection hotels, my family really feels like these Resorts are our "home away from home." I love the convenience of being able to walk to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios and we cherish our early morning breakfasts at Picabu, right inside the Dolphin hotel.
Since the Swan, Dolphin, and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve are not owned by Disney they are not considered
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and do not have transportation options provided by Disney. However, an outside transportation company will get you to both
Magic Kingdom and
Disney's Animal Kingdom efficiently, and you're so close to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios that you'll be able to take water transportation across Crescent Lake, or even just walk to these two Parks!
If you're planning to use a
Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket to "hop" from Animal Kingdom to EPCOT a
Disney Bus can get you there! Follow the signs outside of the Theme Park to board a bus headed to another Park. According to the
My Disney Experience mobile app, where you can use an interactive map to see the easiest ways to get around the Resort, this trip will take approximately 43 minutes. I like to schedule for about an hour considering you'll still need to head through security and scan into the Park.
From Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT you're in for some high-flying fun! After leaving Hollywood Studios, head to the
Disney Skyliner station for the quickest trip. After gliding over the Walt Disney World Resort you'll be gently dropped off in EPCOT's International Gateway, where you'll enter the Park right in World Showcase instead of the main entrance. Your trip on this highway-in-the-sky takes roughly 22 minutes. You also have the option of taking water transportation, or slowly strolling from Park to Park as they are connected by both waterway and walkway.
Finally, from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT you'll be able to take the famous
Disney Monorail and get a little tour from above as you glide over EPCOT before you arrive. Monorails depart approximately every 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom and this trip should take about 40 minutes. There's nothing I like more than watching the world go by from the windows of a monorail! It always makes me feel so happy to just be in The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I hope this information is helpful, James! Please come back and see us again if you have any other planning questions!
