Hi Tina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Boy, are you in for a treat!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the "grand dame" of all of the Resorts, and she is gorgeous! You will love the Victorian theming, and fantastic amenities, but mostly, you will love your location! You are one stop away from Magic Kingdom Park via monorail, and a quick walk to both
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the
Ticket & Transportation Center.
I bet you are super proud of your
Disney College Program family members! (I've got it-bits right now, but fingers crossed, they are accepted into the program in the yEARs to come!). I'm sure you are looking forward to hEARing about all of their magical adventures, and they are more than welcome to join you as your Guests in the Lounge! As you enter the building (with exclusive
MagicBand access), there will be a Cast Member at the desk in front of you. Make sure to stop by and register your Guests with them. After that, enjoy your visit!
Tina, I don't know if you know that there are two
Club Level lounges for you to enjoy at the Resort. As you know, the Sugar Loaf Lounge is in one of the Outer Lodges of the Resort. I've heard it described as the more "casual" of the Clubs. Think more families, a bit more grab and go, rather than couples sipping cordials. On the other hand, the
Royal Palm Club is on the third through fifth floors of the Main Building, and it is magnificent! If you've ever dreamed of being Cinderella, this is where dreams come true! From the Lounge, you can overlook the
Grand Lobby and listen to the Grand Orchestra play a live set in the evening. The food is on the fourth floor, so you have plenty of spots to pick a favorite corner to eat.
Tina, I KNOW you will have a marvelous time! I hope your visit is practically perfect in every way.
Rayna
