If staying in a studio using your DVC points is there still free use of a laundry room? I know at one time there was, but now I can't find any info.

    Hi Teresia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With rising prices on airfare, and with most airlines charging for baggage, being able to do laundry can save you a lot of money. Because I have a larger family, we usually have a 1 bedroom or larger unit, and so I usually have in-room laundry. I did ask my fellow panelists, several who are Disney Vacation Club Members, and at least as recently as November, there was still free self-service laundry available for those staying in Deluxe Studio accommodations.

You will have to pay for your laundry detergent, though that should be available for purchase. I actually pack my own laundry detergent by using the new detergent pods that you simply toss in. I put them in zip top bag and then inside a hard sided plastic container to prevent breakage on the way, and when I get to my resort I am ready to wash. Let me know if you have additional questions as you plan your upcoming stay.

Wishing you a sparklingly clean Disney vacation!
