We are staying at All Star Music before our cruise and getting Disney transportation to and from but not staying the night after. Would we be able to use bell services the day after as our flight doesn't leave until late?

Hi Julie, and welcome back to planDisney. In November, I spent two nights at Disney World before embarking on the Disney Wish, and it was the best of both worlds!

Since you have an evening flight, it would be really nice to enjoy some time in the theme parks before you head home. So, let’s figure out where you can leave your bags.

Bell Services at Disney Resort hotels is meant for overnight guests who want to store luggage on check-in and check-out days. I’ve used their services a lot, and it’s a great way to maximize your first and last days at Disney World! If you’re taking Disney ground transportation from the port to a Disney Resort hotel, it wouldn’t hurt to explain your situation to Bell Services to see if they can help. While there are no guarantees, especially since it’s not a provided service, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

If you decide to go that route, I’d make a backup plan just in case. Here are a few different options:

First is to use one of the many third-party luggage storage companies in the Orlando area. My friend did this when she was in your exact situation. After disembarking from the Disney Dream, she took a bus from the port to Orlando International Airport. Then she left her suitcase with a luggage storage company at the airport and used a ride-share service to go to Hollywood Studios. After enjoying a bit of park time, she returned to the airport, and it was convenient that her bag was already there!

Another option would be to rent a car and leave your luggage in the trunk. You could possibly rent a car near the port and return it at the airport.

And finally, depending on how much luggage you have, you could rent the jumbo-sized lockers at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT. Keep in mind that suitcases aren’t allowed on Disney World transportation, so you’d have to take a Minnie Van or other ride-share service. And there's a limited number of Jumbo-sized lockers available, so it's possible they could already be taken when you get there. A luggage storage company or rental car might be your safest options.

I’m wishing you a magical vacation by both land and sea! If you have any other questions, you’re always welcome here at planDisney.
