Hi Helen, welcome to
planDisney! I'm delighted that even more of your extended family will join the Floridian fun in just a few days! I bet the excitement levels are sky-high at home.
The official Walt Disney World policy is that pools are for the Guests of that specific Walt Disney World Resort hotel only. You may need to show proof of your stay for entry to enter some pools. While
Disney's All-Star Resort pools may be accommodating, as my wise Disney pal
Jason referenced in a previous response, my recommendation to avoid any on-the-day disappointment would be to have a family day at one of Disney's water parks.
Right now,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open, and even better, admission is included as part of
Magic Tickets available from the UK. You'll find pools and water fun galore here, along with sand and lounging areas. Enjoy the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool - the swell here is HUGE! Think tidal rather than lapping waves.
Oh, and a little random tidbit... The mini doughnuts from the kiosk opposite the changing rooms are delightful. You know that ravenous post-swim hunger? These are the perfect sweet treat to combat any hangry feelings!
I'm sorry this may not be the answer you wished for, Helen. I know you will still enjoy the best time with your family at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Louise
