Welcome, Tracy!
Disney makes it so easy for guests enjoying
Land and Sea adventures to transition from land to sea and back again by using
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transfers, either from the Orlando International Airport, or right from their pre-stay at a
Disney Resort! However, these transfers are only available for guests booked with
Disney Cruise Line.
Minnie Vans are a lot of fun to ride in and make private transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort area super easy. However, they currently do not go to Port Canaveral, but only within the Walt Disney World Resort area or from the Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort. So, I do highly encourage you to take a Minnie Van at some point during your stay at
All Star Movies Resort and your visit to the parks.
When it's time for you to leave, your best bet is to either rent a car or book a private transfer over to Port Canaveral since you won't be
sailing with Disney. I'm really happy to hear, though, that you're including a few nights to enjoy all the magic of The Place Where Dreams Come True:
Walt Disney World Resort! Each time my family and I find ourselves in central Florida for another reason, we always squeeze in at least a couple of days to visit Mickey and his pals, and of course, we enjoy lots of trips just for Disney vacations too! You're in for so much fun, Tracy!
Have fun planning your Walt Disney World vacation!
Marcy
