We're staying at the All Star Movie Resort in February for the first time. I was wondering if it's possible to see any fireworks shows from this facility or if we have to be closer to the parks?

The All Star hotels are too far away from the parks to see the fireworks. If you would like to watch the fireworks but not actually enter a park, you could see them from the grounds of a resort that is much nearer the parks. For example, you can get a decent view of Wishes at the Magic Kingdom from the beach area at the Polynesian resort.
