Jambo, Christina!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your exciting
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It looks like you'll be checking in at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge tomorrow - how exciting! Are you ready to embark on a wild and wonder-filled adventure!? I'm here to help you prepare for your safari-inspired stay-cation.
Christina, if your travel party is anything like my family, they love exploring the many
Disney Resort hotels on property during each visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. In fact, we regularly book "split stays" between two or more Resort hotels each trip so that we can enjoy the dining, theming, and amenities offered by various locations! I'm happy to inform you that Guests staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge may take advantage of the amenities and recreational opportunities offered in both the Jambo House and Kidani Village areas of the resort. That means you may make a splash in both the Uzima Pool at Jambo House and the Samawati Springs Pool at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village! The resort areas are located just a short scenic stroll away from one another or may be accessed via an internal shuttle that runs throughout the day.
During your stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll be able to enjoy the basketball and
tennis courts at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. Disney Vacation Club Members may rent tennis and pickleball equipment free of charge at the Community Hall, but a small fee applies to Guests who are not Members. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may occasionally be unavailable due to lessons taking place.
Christina, I hope you've found this information helpful as you gear up for a fun-filled Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm sure you're eager to escape the winter chill and trade the snowy views for swaying palm trees and yummy
Zebra Domes. If you have any additional questions during your stay, you're always welcome to revisit us at
planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
