Hi, staying at SSR in Feb (19 sleeps!).Booked Discovery Cove for 10Feb.There are 6 in our group. We are not hiring a car.How easy is it to get a taxi at SSR?Would we need to pre-book(8 am start) and what will the cost be?Many thanks for your help

    Hi Eleanor,

Taxis are readily available at Walt Disney World, but most cabs only seat four guests. There are, however, van-style cabs as well. Since this is what you need, you should arrange for one in advance. You can do this through the Bell Services desk at the hotel. This is a very common request, not difficult at all. You can either make the arrangement the night before, or even in the morning, about 15 minutes before you want to leave. The Bell Desk will call a taxi for you and have it waiting when you're ready to go. Again, make sure that you specify that you have six people in your party.

You can estimate costs by consulting the independent website taxifarefinder.com. Input your start and end points and you'll be able to see approximately what you will spend.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need additional help.
