Hi Melissa, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. As someone who is obsessed with Disney merchandise, I totally understand when your luggage isn’t quite big enough for all the goodies you’ve bought! Fortunately, Disney makes it easy to get your purchases home safely.
If you’re looking to ship merchandise purchased at a Disney-owned store, you can typically do that at most gift shops in the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. Since the
Dolphin Hotel isn’t owned by Disney, your best bet would be to head to Screen Door General Store at
BoardWalk Inn or a store inside one of the theme parks, like the
Emporium at Magic Kingdom or
Creations Shop at EPCOT.
You can even wait until the end of your vacation and ship everything at one time. Be sure to keep the receipts and bring everything together to the store. It’s usually cheaper to send items together versus shipping them separately, so you might even be able to save a bit of money!
For anything purchased at a third-party store (like some shops at
Disney Springs), you can send packages through the
Business Center in the Dolphin Hotel. In my experience, this option is usually more expensive than shipping Disney merchandise through the gift shops, but it can be a convenient option depending on what you need to send.
Before I go, I wanted to share one of my favorite shopping-related time savers at Disney World—
Merchandise Mobile Checkout in the
My Disney Experience app. It lets you skip the regular checkout line in select gift shops (it’s usually available at the bigger stores in each theme park) and emails you a digital receipt afterwards. I find it especially helpful later in the day at the Emporium, when everyone is making last-minute purchases before leaving Magic Kingdom! Just keep in mind that if you want to ship items home, you’ll need to use the regular checkout line since a Cast Member needs to process the shipping.
