Hi there, Melissa! Welcome BACK to
planDisney! It is lovely to see you here, asking another Disney vacation question. I’m so glad you trust us to provide you with answers.
A Key to the World card works in a few different ways when you visit
Walt Disney World Resort. If you are staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, the Key to the World card can be used to access your resort room and make purchases in shops and restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort, to be charged to your card on file at the resort. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, the Key to the World card can be used for theme park admission (with valid theme park entry linked to your
My Disney Experience account), access to
Lightning Lanes, and linking
Disney PhotoPass photos.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can pick up a Key to the World card from the front desk of their resort. Since you are staying at a Signia Resort, you can request a Key to the World card from Guest Services at the entry of any of the Walt Disney World theme parks.
While you will not receive a Key to the World card at your resort, you do have
Early Theme Park Entry when staying at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. To get a quick start to your day, you can go to the Guest Services at a theme park the day before you plan to visit the parks to pick up your Key to the World card, so you are ready to go the next day!
Another option for theme park entry, access to Lightning Lanes, and linking PhotoPass photos is to use
Disney MagicMobile, which allows you to use your smartphone. If you want to set up Disney MagicMobile, follow these steps:
1.Go to your My Disney Experience app and select the Disney MagicMobile button.
2.Follow the instructions in the app to choose from several Disney MagicMobile pass styles and add it to your digital wallet.
3.Create digital passes for members of your party or link their passes to your device.
I hope this information helps you have a magical visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. You’ve got a friend in me, Melissa, in all of us here at planDisney. Please visit us whenever we can answer your Disney vacation questions.
