Hi we’re staying at shades of green and the room reservation is under 5 adults since they told us not add our 4 year old to the room reservation. Is that going to be a problem when we try to do early theme park entry or extended hours? Will they let her in

Hello there, Amy! Welcome to planDisney. Mickey and I are excited that you'll be coming from The Lone Star State for a magical visit in a few short months!

Staying at Shades of Green will be a relaxing and memorable getaway for your family, and it has the honor of having the largest standard guest rooms on Walt Disney World property! There is lush tropical landscaping throughout the resort, and the views from almost every room are spectacular. I spoke with a reservation agent today, and she said you should call to add your 4-year-old daughter to the room reservation. You can reach them at (888) 593-2242 Monday - Friday 8 AM - 9 PM, Saturday 8 AM - 4 PM, and you'll want to select option 1. If you are worried about room capacity, consider upgrading to a Junior Suite. At check-in, each member of your party listed on the reservation will receive a Resort I.D. Card, allowing you access to all of Shades of Green's dining, transportation, tickets, and other amenities. If you're a sponsored guest, your sponsor must be with you to check-in to receive your Resort I.D. as well.

As you mentioned, Shades of Green guests are eligible for the new Early Theme Park Entry benefit, which is available 30 minutes before regular theme park opening time at every theme park every day. In addition, guests staying here are also eligible to enjoy Extended Evening Hours on select nights in select theme parks. Make sure your room reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account so that when you arrive at the theme park turnstiles, you can scan through with your valid theme park tickets or MagicBands, and I recommend bringing your Resort I.D. with you as well.

Guests here also experience complimentary bus service to and from the parks, just as Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests do. And if you want to catch the Monorail, you can! It's a brief walk from Shades of Green to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, making monorail transportation quick and easy!

I hope you have a great time, Amy! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to write back.
