Hi Rebeca, and welcome to planDisney! My family loves to maximize our Disney days by using
Lightning Lane Passes, especially during the busy Spring Break season. So, let’s figure out what’s going on so you’ll be all set to ride as many attractions as possible during your visit!
Guests staying at Shades of Green Resort can
purchase Lightning Lane passes up to seven days before check-in for their entire stay (up to 14 days). If you’re not able to buy Lightning Lane passes for your upcoming trip in the
My Disney Experience app, I’d double-check a few things:
1) Your Shades of Green Resort stay is linked in My Disney Experience. You can check this by going to your
Plans and Tickets page on the Disney World website. Your reservation should show up under your Daily Itinerary.
2) Everyone in your party is connected to that reservation. Under the Shades of Green stay on your Plans and Tickets page, you should see everyone’s profiles.
3) Your whole crew has valid theme park admission for the days you’re trying to buy Lightning Lane Passes for, and the tickets are linked to the profiles attached to your Shades of Green reservation. To confirm this, go back to your Plans and Tickets page and click “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” (under “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets”). Here you can see if everyone has a valid ticket attached to their profile.
4) Everyone has
theme park reservations, if needed, for the days you’re trying to buy Lightning Lane Passes for. While most date-based tickets don’t require this, usually you do need theme park reservations when using admission types like
Military Salute tickets and Annual Passes.
If you’re still having any issues buying Lightning Lane passes, I’d recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number. A Cast Member would be happy to help troubleshoot!

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! It’s one of my favorite festivals because the park is covered in the most beautiful plants. I love to grab food from the
Outdoor Kitchens and stroll around looking for all the different
Disney character topiaries. The horticulture team does an amazing job with them!
