    We are going to be staying at Shades of Green from October 6-14, 2021. I will be purchasing park tickets through them and wanted to know how that works with making the park reservations? Will I be able to do that and link up with My Disney Experience?

    Hello there, Marguerite! Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to reach out and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

    You will be happy to know that purchasing theme park tickets through Shades of Green works very similar to purchasing your tickets through any other third-party vendor! The first step you will need to complete is linking your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. This can be done by visiting the “Link Your Reservations and Purchases” webpage. From here, you will need to click the “Tickets” tab. You will then be prompted to input your Ticket ID Number and assign your tickets to members of your party. You should receive a copy of your Ticket ID Numbers in your purchase confirmation email. Once you’ve completed these steps, you will be free to continue the planning process! 

    As you pointed out, Guests are now required to make theme park reservations prior to their visit to the parks. This may be done through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you’ve linked your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. This is a very straightforward process that involves creating your travel party, selecting the date and theme park, and confirming your selections. If you would like to check the availability of reservations prior to purchasing your tickets, you may do so through the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online as well!

    If you haven’t already done so, I would also recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app prior to your vacation! This is the perfect way of keeping track of and modifying your plans throughout your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. The best part is that this can all be done right from your smartphone while you are visiting the theme parks or relaxing in your hotel room!
