IF staying at Shades of Green, are you still afforded free standard parking at the Theme Parks?

Bonjour, Tamara! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney. Thank you for being our Guest!

Oh boy! It sounds like you have a magical vacation planned for September and I couldn't be more excited for you. First, you'll be able to experience everything that The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer. You'll want to make sure that you check out the Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, and don't forget about picking up a few celebratory sweets! You'll also be able to explore the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival where you can enjoy global marketplaces and live entertainment. You may also be interested in picking up a few tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! With so much to see and do, there's surely magic waiting for you around every corner this fall.

Tamara, I think you're really going to love staying at Shades of Green. This is a beautiful resort that will keep you feeling magical from the moment you wake up until you rest your head on your pillow at night. I know you're asking if Guests staying at Shades of Green are afforded free parking at the theme parks. Unfortunately, when looking at the Frequently Asked Questions, it appears that this is not a benefit of staying at Shades of Green. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! I have some good news for you that I think you'll enjoy during your trip.

You'll be happy to know that there is complimentary bus transportation from Shades of Green to the theme parks! This will be a great way to travel around Walt Disney World Resort. Additionally, you have several resort benefits at your fingertips by staying at Shades of Green! Not only will you be able to magically enter the parks 30 minutes early with Early Theme Park Entry, but you'll be able to enjoy late nights on certain days at select parks with Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. I've found that these extra hours in the parks are much less crowded with beautiful, mild temperatures. I'd highly recommend taking advantage of these benefits!

Be sure that you've also made your Theme Park Reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! And take a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app before you arrive. A little like holding a magic wand in your hand, this app will allow you to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and (my favorite!) mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!

If you have any other questions, I hope you visit us again, Tamara! Remember - you've got a friend in me.

    To infinity and beyond!
