Heigh-Ho Patrick,
Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help. Once you have arrived, at a specific location on the Walt Disney World property, Guests not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can access and explore all of the other Walt Disney World Resorts through
Disney's complimentary transportation. Cast Members are readily available to assist in guiding you to your next destination at many of the transportation hubs. Walt Disney World has three monorails that transport Guests, the Express Monorail, the Resort Monorail and the Epcot Monorail, all of which can be accessed from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).
From what I gather you are curiouser and curiouser about the
Resort Monorail which transports Guests from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Contemporary Resort, to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and then full circle to Magic Kingdom Park. Guests, not staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts located on this monorail route, can easily board at the Transportation and Ticket Center or at Magic Kingdom park and disembark at any of the resorts to explore, dine and shop.
At the moment, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is temporarily closed due to the refurbishment of the Great Ceremonial House. Guests can depart at the Transporation and Ticket Center and access the resort by following the sidewalk. So many magical and memorable moments can be made by Resort Monorail hopping. Whether to snack and dine at each stop, discover hidden Mickey's or simply to peruse and enjoy and discover your next Home Away from Home it is all worth the ride.
If I can be of any further assistance in discovering new ways to explore the Walt Disney World Resort feel free to ask and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for more vacation planning tips.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
