Hi Joe!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are getting packed because your trip is THIS WEEK! Grab your Mickey Ears and your MagicBands and get ready for a merry and magical good time at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Holiday transformation of the resorts and theme parks has started! On Saturday morning, November 2, Guests to the Magic Kingdom were greeted with holiday greenery and decor on Main Street, U.S.A. With the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the end of this week, you can anticipate that most of the holiday decorations in the Magic Kingdom to be up by then. You’ll also find many decorations going up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for November 8, 2019, is currently sold out. If you already have tickets and will be attending with your fiancé and their sons, know that
Disney Vacation Club Members may enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 2 pm with their party ticket and blue Membership Card. If you are with them, you too may enter at 2 pm!
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is still in full swing, but holiday decor should be in place by the end of November for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. If you are looking for do not miss events, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is one of my top recommendations! Stroll World Showcase Lagoon while you dine on small plates and tastes from around the world. Attend one of the
Eat to the Beat Concerts. For the
kids, check out Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt!
For
Disney Vacation Club events, guest admission can vary. I recommend checking the Disney Vacation Club Member Website in advance of your visit. As a general rule of thumb, most of the time (but not always guaranteed), guests of the Member, who are staying with them on their resort reservation, are welcome to participate in events, visit the
Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge in Epcot, or
Top of the World Lounge at Disney's Bay Lake Tower!
I hope some of these ideas inspire you, Joe! And I hope you have a truly wonderful vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!
