We will be staying at Saratoga springs with a 19 month old. Does anyone have suggestions of which section would be best to request?

    Hi Stacia!

Vacationing with a toddler can be filled with special moments, but it does help to be prepared with a little extra planning. As a mommy of four, I have experience traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones.

The Springs might be a good area of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for your family. Since it is centrally located, you will be close to The Carriage House for check-in, dining, and shopping. It is also a good location if you are planning on splashing around at High Rock Springs Pool. If you will be using Walt Disney World Resort Transportation, there a bus stop right across the street from the pool for easy transportation to the theme parks.

Please know that while room requests are certainly accepted, there is never a guarantee that your request will be able to be accommodated. All the areas of Disney’s Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa are truly beautiful, and each has its own bus stop. There is a second feature pool, The Paddock Pool, and several quiet pools throughout the resort. You may find these other sections more peaceful, and conducive to an afternoon nap, than being near the action of The Springs.

If this is your first trip with a little Mouseketeer, make sure you know where the Baby Care Centers are. These are a great place to take a little break during the day, feed or change your baby or purchase baby supplies. There is one located in each theme park.

I hope you and your family have a truly magical Disney vacation this spring! I have a lot of experience taking little ones to the Walt Disney World Resort, so feel free to ask any additional questions I can help you with.

    Wishing you happy planning!
