Staying at Saratoga Springs in Congress Park buildings. How long is the walk to Disney Springs? Also if I have breakfast at Kona Cafe one morning, what’s the best way to get there from Saratoga? Walk to bus stop at disney springs then take bus to poly?

Welcome BACK to planDisney, Christina! It is great to see you here asking another vacation question and it would be my pleasure to help. Since it is my home resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has a special place in my heart and I hope you have a wonderful stay this April. During our most recent stay, my family and I stayed in Congress Park and absolutely loved our newly refurbished 1-Bedroom Villa. The walk to Disney Springs took us approximately five to seven minutes, depending upon how leisurely we walked. I loved that the shopping, dining, and entertainment of Disney Springs was so accessible, and we took advantage of it many times, grabbing crepes from AristoCrêpes and stocking up on sweet treats from Goofy’s Candy Company

Typically, I would say the best way to get to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa would be to walk over to Disney Springs and catch the bus, but if you are trying to make your way to breakfast, you will need to consider the operating hours of Disney Springs. The current calendar has the Disney Springs operating hours at 10 a.m., so the buses will begin running to and from Disney Springs around this time. This might be a bit later than you would like to make it to Kona Café for breakfast.

Another option you have is to take the bus transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and then take the water taxi back to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Please note that the monorail service to Disney’s Polynesian Village resort is temporarily unavailable due to the refurbishment work being done at the Great Ceremonial House. You can always try one of the ride-sharing options such as Lyft or Uber, to go directly from resort to resort, but of course, this would be at the additional cost of these services.

I hope that this information helps you, Christina, and that you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth this spring! Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
