Staying at Saratoga. Do the buses typically fill up by the time they reach the Springs stop? We have a preferred room booked, and are hoping to get a villa in the Springs. Are we better off walking to a different bus stop in the morning?

    Hiya Megan!

I’m so glad to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I love the charm of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! This Victorian-style haven of upstate New York pays homage to horse racing and I absolutely love the pretty pastel exteriors of each building! Located next to Disney Springs, you will have plenty of choices for shopping and dining!

The Bus service at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa runs frequently, about every 20 minutes and the stops are in this order:

    The Grandstand
    The Carousel
    The Paddock
    Congress Park
    The Springs

On certain days, such as days the Theme Park you are headed to offers Extra Magic Hours or getting to the park within an hour of opening, you can expect a crowd and thus, may want to get on at the first or second stop to be safe. For the remainder of the day, you should have no problems getting a bus at your stop. I called on my good friend and fellow Panelist, Angie C. who stays at the Resort hotel frequently. She told me her and her family haven't had any issues getting a bus during the day while staying at one of the last stops. She did mention how lucky you are to be walking distance from Disney Springs; just walk across the pedestrian bridge and you’re there! You can always grab a boat to Disney Springs, as well.

Megan, I hope you have the most enchanting visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
