I am staying in a RV(Campsite) at Fortwilderness Sept 20-Oct 1 2009. If the free dining plan is offered am I eligible for it although I am not staying in a hotel? Also, are there a limited number of free dining plan packages available?

    Hi Mason,

How fun, I wish our family was brave enough to camp but we would never be able to get the tent to stay up. Unfortunately the Free Disney Dining promotion typically excludes the Fort Wilderness campsite from participating. In the past, this promotion was available for resort stays only and not the campground. There is always a possibility that it could change, but given past history, I would doubt it.

The promotion has not been announced yet for this year, so it is unknown if the offer will appear this fall. Typically the announcement is made in mid to late April so I would check www.disneyworld.com around that time for additional information. If the campsite is still not eligible, you may want to consider camping for a portion of your trip without the free dining and then moving to a resort with the promotion for the remainder of your stay. As Hannah Monatana would say...You get the best of both worlds.

Hope you have a mgical trip!
