Howdy, Glenn!
Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to hear you will be arriving at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness so soon. You must be thrilled about your magical adventure to the Walt Disney World Resort.
My dream is to one day take our 5th-wheel across the country and stay in the magic. My parents have met us a few times in their RV and it sounds incredible. I checked with a friendly Cast Member and was told that there is a designated area to park your small trailer near the Reservation Outpost. You will want to speak with a Cast Member at the Reception Outpost so they are able to direct you to the portion of the parking lot where they'd like you to leave your trailer. Depending on your campsite, you may be able to park your trailer with you as long as it is completely off the road and not occupying any space on an adjacent campsite or in the grass.
Having your golf cart is a great idea at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness. This way you can take a quick trip to the Meadow Recreation Area if you want to take a dip in the pool or visit the nearby Meadow Trading Post. You'll also be able to easily get to Pioneer Hall for food or fun and even park at the dock if you want to take a water taxi to
Magic Kingdom Park. My favorite place to visit at Fort Wilderness though, is the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch. While you can book a trail ride, carriage ride or pony ride for the kiddos, I adore strolling through the stables to visit Cinderella's Ponies and the historical Dragon Calliope.
Enjoy your stay, Glenn, and have a wonderful visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
