Staying on property 1st time @P.O. Riverside, never used dining plan. Concerned about getting to ADR on time. Want to arrive 30min early for an 8:00@Akershus and 8:00@Crystal Palace. How long from Riverside to parks? Should we rely on shuttle or drive?

    Hello Sarah,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help and happy to do so. I am glad to hear you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and Disney's Port Orleans- Riverside is a beautiful selection and because you are a Walt Disney World Resort Guest, you now have the option to participate in the Disney Dining Plan.

While the complimentary Disney bus transportation, can take longer, it is always nice to sit back and just enjoy being chauffeured around Walt Disney World. If traveling, by bus from Disney's Port Orleans- Riverside to Epcot, I would estimate 30 minutes of travel time to arrive to the front entrance of Epcot. Traveling by car, I would estimate 15 minutes. Your walk to World Showcase's Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, located in Norway, will take approximately 15 minutes.  When traveling to Magic Kingdom park, to enjoy breakfast with some friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood, the bus, in this case, is a shorter journey. I would estimate about 20 minutes of travel time to arrive to the front entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. Take a quick stroll down Main Street U.S.A., turning left by Casey's Corner, and The Crystal Palace is directly in front of you waiting to fill the rumbly in your tumbly.

If I can be of any further  pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
