David,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Regardless of whether you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel or not, you can make park reservations for any day you have a valid theme park ticket, all at the same time. In fact, you can make those theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass System as soon as you have the tickets purchased and in your
My Disney Experience account.
I always recommend to friends that they make their theme park reservations as soon as they have their tickets.
Why? Well, you can always change them later, if space is available, and this way you have a secured park per day all taken care of.
So how do you make your reservations?Step 1: Before you start making your reservations, it always pays to check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar, to make sure that the parks are free on the days you want to visit them!
Step 2: Visit the
Theme Park Reservations page. Either click on my link, or from the Walt Disney World home page, hover over
"My Disney Experience" in the upper right, and from the pop-up menu select
"Theme Park Reservations".
Step 3: After you click on the
"Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations" button, simply go day-by-day, picking your park for whatever members of your party plan to attend that day.
BONUS TIPIf you want to switch plans later, you can still do that. Of course, you should check the Availability calendar first to be sure the changes you want to make will work. After that, just go back to your My Disney Experience Account, under
"My Plans", and click on the
"Manage Reservation" button next to the park pass you want to change. Follow the prompts, and you will be done in a few minutes!
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
Doug
