We are staying on property 6/5-6/10 and are having a hard time choosing between Port Orleans Riverside and Wilderness Lodge. Both are great properties and are confused on which will be best for us. Traveling with twin 4 yr old boys.

    Hey there Jeanne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I can certainly understand your dilemma. Having personally stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Wilderness Lodge numerous times,  I can honestly say that both resorts offer unique theming and fun recreational activities.

As a mom of four children including a set of nine-year-old twin boys, I would recommend staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge with your twins. At Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you will be able to easily travel to Magic Kingdom Park by boat; whereas, only bus transportation is available to all of the theme parks from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. My boys really enjoy the Great Northwest-theming and grand lobby complete with totem poles and a massive fireplace. Whispering Canyon Cafe, located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, is a Western-themed restaurant with a rowdy, yet fun atmosphere. Your boys would love the Lincoln log table, hobby horse races and fun antics by the wait staff at this entertaining dining location.

Although you can't go wrong with either of these amazing resorts, my twins would definitely vote for Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I hope this helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jeanne!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
