We are staying on property at Coronado and some local friends are meeting us to go to Magic Kingdom on Friday morning for rope drop. Will they be able to enter early with us since we have early entry for staying at resort?

Welcome to planDisney, Mia! You're just a few days away from your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I hope you're ready to make some magical memories! It sounds like you'll be visiting with friends, and that's one way to make your trip even more magical! There's nothing more special than sharing the joy of Disney with those we love most!

Mia, as a guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you are entitled to Early Theme Park Entry, which grants you access to select attractions in each theme park 30 minutes before the park opens to other guests. This is an exclusive benefit offered only to those who are staying at a Disney Resort hotel as a special perk. Your friends, however, will be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park at the same time as you even though they are offsite guests, as the park itself opens to all guests about 30 minutes before the posted early entry time. While they won't be able to access the attractions early (there are separate checkpoints to verify your Disney Resort hotel reservation to access Fantasyland Tomorrowland), they will be able to access Main Street, U.S.A.

Mia, if your group would like to stay together, I'd recommend grabbing a coffee and pastry on Main Street and then heading towards Adventureland at the park's opening. If you're okay separating for a bit, the guests registered on your Disney Resort hotel reservation can go experience an attraction or two during early entry and then meet back up with your friends after. Whichever plan you choose, you're sure to find lots of magic together!

I hope this helps, Mia! If you have any other planning questions before your countdown to the magic is over, come see us again at planDisney! You've got a friend in me, and I'd be happy to help you again!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
