    we are staying at the Port Orleans and will be using Disney transportation to get around. We have reservations at Chef Mickeys in the Contemporary resort. What is the best way to get there?

    Howdy LaShawn!

    Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter and Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside are my favorite moderate level Resorts at Walt Disney World.  I love the theme of each and the water taxi transportation to Disney Springs is out of this world.   I hope you have an amazing vacation.

    In order to reach Chef Mickey's from either of Disney's Port Orleans Resorts you will need to take the bus transportation that is traveling to Magic Kingdom.   Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom you have two options;  you could walk the short path from Magic Kingdom over to Disney's Contemporary Resort where Chef Mickey's is located, or you could take the Resort loop monorail one stop to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The choice is up to you.  No matter which route you take I would allow about 60-90 minutes to reach your destination.  It may not take that long, but I always like to allow for wiggle room in case the unexpected pops up.
